Pathways School of Ministry is designed to develop Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, Mission-focused leaders. Pathways offers schedules that accommodate full time jobs, families or other responsibilities. 

Pathways students dig deep into their personal relationship with God, learn how to serve in areas of ministry they feel called to or want to explore, and are mentored along the way.

Primary requirements include: a heart for God, a desire to serve others, and a yearning to grow deeper in your faith.

 
 

Academic Pathways & Partnerships

 

Undergraduate Level Program

Undergraduate level studies are offered in partnership with Emmanuel Bible College. Students completing the Pathways undergraduate level program will receive an Undergraduate Certificate in Ministry. Student will receive advanced standing for 30 credits which can be applied towards any undergraduate degree at Emmanuel Bible College.

Graduate Level Program

Graduate level studies are offered in partnership with McMaster Divinity College.  Students completing the Pathways graduate level program will receive a Graduate Certificate in Christian Studies from McMaster Divinity College, and credits can be applied towards one year of either an MTS or MDiv degree at McMaster Divinity College.

International Opportunities

Pathways is partnered with Envision Canada to offer field education opportunities for students to intern alongside International Workers (missionaries) in locations around the globe.


Course Offerings

Students will participate in seven academic courses and three field education courses. Academic courses are delivered utilizing a combination of intensive in-class time, online content delivery, and distance learning. In-class sessions are offered on location at the Central Canadian District Ministry Centre in Burlington Ontario. The field education courses require the student to be actively involved in an internship placement at a church or ministry, where they will receive hands-on opportunities for development and mentorship from experienced ministry leaders.
