Want to audit a Pathways Course?

You may have a few questions, consider our answers below and contact us if you need more information!

What is auditing?

Auditing is the option to take a Pathways course for general interest.

Why would I audit?

Auditing a Pathways class gives you the opportunity to engage with some of the material on the topic in a group setting with other students. It’s a good way to introduce yourself to a particular topic without the commitment to completing a course in its entirety.

What does it cost?

The cost for auditing a Pathways course is $250

What is expected of me?

Individuals who wish to audit a course are encouraged to do the course readings. Audit students are expected to engage in class discussions and participate in small group breakouts. It is our desire for audit students to get the most out of each course as to benefit their own development and the development of their ministry, therefore we strongly encourage those auditing a course to do a personal reflection paper after their experience to help them process all they have learned. Any assignments or work done by audit students is not to be submitted to the instructor, and will not be graded or reviewed.

Could an audited course count towards future credit if I decide to enrol in a program?

No, an audited course cannot count towards future credit.

What courses are available to audit?

Audit opportunities are only made available if there are open seats available in that course. Currently Pathways allows auditing of the following courses:

  • Prayer and the Practice of Ministry

  • Ministering the Fourfold Gospel

  • Disciple Making

  • Missional Theology

  • Baptism of the Spirit
